一、教学目标
上海市英语口译基础能力证书考试是经上海市紧缺人才培训工程联席会议办公室审核并确认的上海市英语口译岗位资格证书的考试项目之一。该课程的开设主要针对具有相当于高中英语以上水平或大学低年级学生或相当水平的其他学员。基于基础口译考试需要考生具备基本的英语知识和应用能力，因此要对学生从听、说、译等综合能力进行提高。作为基础口译第一阶段的授课，教学上通过先夯实学生的英语基础、重新唤醒对英语听说译的感知，进而补充讲授一些口译基本技巧以及各种交际环境中语言的正确表达方式、全方位地对学生进行口译技巧和逻辑推理能力训练，并结合拓宽学生知识面，培养学生跨文化交际能力、口译相关技巧的综合运用能力、认知、推理能力、独立工作能力、解决问题的能力以及相应的心理素质。
二、教学要求
为了更好地因材施教， 通过讲授基本的口语与听力的技巧对学生进行口译的基本训练，结合实践，使学生初步学会口头概述、翻译等基本策略，提高学生的逻辑思维能力、语言组织能力和双语互译表达能力，在原有的基础上增加听说实训，让学生对基础口译的考试有明确目标。通过学习扩大词汇量和知识面，有的放矢地进行听说译的全面提高，为后阶段的板块强化学习打下良好的基础。
